Hi! Thanks for visiting! I'm Deanna and design is my passion — at Deesign by Deanna McIsaac I offer my clients graphic design, marketing and branding, colour plans and decor services.

With a background in marketing, communications, graphic design and special events I can assist you in the various marketing directives of your business. From small, start-up entrepreneurs, to medium-sized organizations, I can help you with all your marketing and branding needs. 

FYI, I am also a firm believer in volunteerism and giving back to your community. Right now I maintain Kanaka Creek Elementary's Parent Advisory Committe blog and assist with any fundraising initiatives that are going on, such as Casino Nights and School Carnivals.

As for my background, well after many years of rearranging my parents furniture when they were away and painting and drawing, I headed to Simon Fraser University and graduated with a BA in Communications and extended minor in Geography (1996). Following that, I worked for almost ten years at a British Columbia credit union. As the Marketing and Website Coordinator at G&F Financial Group (formerly United (Civic) Savings Credit Union), I created marketing and advertising pieces, including the production of mail out pieces, statement stuffers, posters, brochures, account packages, direct mail postcards/flyers, annual reports and newsletters. I conceptualized, designed and developed marketing plans, in collaboration with the marketing department, to achieve the credit union's goals and objectives during various campaigns, i.e. RRSP Season. I also dealt with various outside media reps to coordinate marketing initiatives and was responsible for the copy writing, design and layout of a quarterly newsletter that was distributed to all credit union members (over 20,000)! I assisted and supported branch marketing initiatives, from community events and sponsorships to community newspaper advertisements. I even got to make cotton candy a few times! Plus, I updated and managed the credit union's public website and designed, developed and maintained an internal staff website. Phew...I was actually responsible for a lot of stuff!!!

Campaigns that I was integral in helping design and develop won awards at MACU's AIME (Marketing Association for Credit Union's Awared in Marketing Excellence) awards gala.

Then came my two kids...and everything changed! For the better of course! :) Now, I offer my services on a contract basis and in doing so have met a lot of great people!
